Besides giving regular classes, themed workshops and lectures, she really enjoys directing, choreographing and performing different shows together with all her students. She argues: »I adore the process of creating, discovering the little things in music, listened to a thousand times, always finding new inspiration in everything and everyone around... it's that feeling, that keeps me going and makes my love and enthusiasm for oriental art even stronger!«
Iris visits festivals, workshops, master classes and lectures every chance she gets in different dance styles, but after all the years, oriental is still the one she favors the most. She is thankful to many teachers that have helped her on her oriental journey. Impossible to name them all, she emphasizes the most influential two, Manca and Irina. Manca Pavli, for showing her what is the true meaning of hard training and self discipline and for giving her the opportunity to tour with her last two shows (Bellydance Unveiled and Bellydance Infusion) and to Irina Stankovič, for being part of her wonderful Eastern Fairytale Dance Company and for all the precious advice, teaching methods and dance technique, she has given her.
And as many educators do... in the end she recognizes that of course one of the best teachers she has are her dear students.
